This website may collect certain types of information, including your name, email address, and website’s URL (in the case of my comments section).
I also collect email addresses for my newsletter (coming soon to a computer near you!). Since I use the services of the awesome Aweber company, you will have to opt in to receive any newsletters from me and can easily opt out at any time. So why don’t you join already?
On to legal stuff; I promise not to share, divulge, sell, or give away your email addresses or any other personal information that might be collected as long as I own the site.
How do you know you can trust me not to cheat? It’s tough to trust anyone on the Internet, but look around. This is a blog about an American who was transferred to Tokyo for his job (a very well paying job, I might add). I really don’t need to sell email addresses at $1.00 per thousand to make ends meet.
If you are still worried, get a free, throwaway Gmail address to use for signing up for newsletters.
